Halsey Taylor - Recessed Refrigerated Drinking Fountain with Wheelchair Access (BFMR-Q)

The Halsey Taylor BFMR-Q is an indoor refrigerated wall-mounted drinking fountain, offering chilled water through a chrome-plated bubbler tap. With an in-line strainer and satin-finish stainless steel panels, the BFMR-Q adheres to NSF/ANSI 61 regulations, while its open design and easy to use push-button also makes the fountain suitable for those with visual or physical impairments, including wheelchair users. The BFMR-Q requires next to no maintenance, saving you time and money. A galvanised steel mounting frame and self-lubricating inner components reduce the chances of damage or malfunction, and furthermore a smoothly contoured basin prevents corrosion or rusting from water left standing for long periods of time. The Halsey Taylor BFMR-Q indoor chilled drinking fountain delivers two streams of water through a chrome-plated, one-piece bubbler tap. With mound-building design the stream is easy to catch in the mouth or a cup, it also delivers twice the amount of water compared with other recessed drinking fountains whilst the built-in stream height regulator prevents any splashing or squirting. This device works at water pressures ranging from 20 to 105 psi, and is located inside the unit to prevent tampering or damage. Water is released by the touch of a sensitive push-button, which allows for easy operation even for those with physical or visual impairments.

The BFMR-Q refrigerated drinking fountain uses R134A refrigerant gas, a large capacity dryer-strainer and efficiently sized capillaries to chill up to eight gallons of water per hour, at between 7 and 12 degrees Celsius.

The child water produced by the BFMR-Q is also clean to the highest levels of hygiene, granting the drinking fountain with NSF/ANSI 61 certification, the American standard for drinking water-related cleanliness. Amongst other contaminants, this guarantees a lead content of less than 0.25%. On top of this, the BFMR-Q also far surpasses the requirements of the Safe Drinking Water Act, with several structural features which promote hygiene and prevent contamination. An easy to clean in-line strainer traps any particles of dirt or dust which are larger than 140 microns in the water inlet, before they can reach the waterways within the drinking fountain. Furthermore, the BFMR-Q's bubbler tap features an integrated hood, which prevents the cross-contamination of germs between users "œ a feature which is essential in areas of high usage.

Germs will also be prevented from clinging to the drinking fountain in pool of standing water by the BFMR-Q's high quality satin finish, and contoured basin. The basin's round edges and corners encourage quick drainage, ensuring no germs and no embarrassing splashes or spillages. The drinking fountain itself features a recessed design, meaning it can be wall-mounted to save space in smaller or tighter locations. The BFMR-Q is installed within a galvanised steel mounting frame, providing the unit with structural integrity and durability, even under heavy use.

The front panel of the BFMR-Q is removable, providing quick and effortless access to the refrigeration unit. However, you're unlikely to require access to the drinking fountain's inner workings, as Halsey Taylor have taken steps to ensure only minimal maintenance is required. The refrigeration unit is hermetically sealed, with a self-lubricating fan and a lifetime-lubricated positive start compressor. The outer casing is also cast from stainless steel, meaning no corrosion or stain will compromise the cleanliness or physical appearance of your indoor drinking fountain.
