The SJ19-Q remote chiller is manufactured by American industry leaders Halsey Taylor, whose units are esteemed for their high quality performance and impressive longevity.

The SJ19-Q remote chiller is manufactured from the highest quality rust resistant heavy gauge steel. Not only does this produce a stylish finish to the unit, it also guarantees durability over many years of use. As the casing is corrosion resistant, the unit is protected against potential structural deficiencies or contamination of the water supply. The unit measures 59cm (w) x 26cm (d) x 66cm (h).

The Halsey Taylor SJ19-Q uses R134A refrigerant, with efficient capillary sizing and a tube and tank style cooling system. These features, along with water passing through a continuous coil of copper tubing, ensure continual and efficient cooling. A built in thermostat allows water temperature to be set between 7 and 12 degrees Celsius, with up to 19 gallons of water being cooled per hour. Water is fed directly from the mains, through a ¼" inlet connection.

The SJ19 remote chiller can be attached directly to a swan neck tap, like those available here at MIW Water Cooler Experts. Alternatively, the SJ19-Q can provide chilled water for multiple drinking fountains, provided they are in close proximity (15 feet) of the unit.

In the event of your unit requiring maintenance, the SJ19-Q features easily detachable panels for access to inner components. However, Halsey Taylor have taken steps to reduce the need for repairs or maintenance. The unit's internal fan motor is self-lubricating, reducing the need for repairs and promoting a longer product life. On top of this, the compressor is hermetically sealed with built-in overload protection.
