User safety and hygiene
MIW only works with WRAS-approved equipment. Our bottle fillers and drinking fountains have all been tested to Government and water authority standards. Many also have additional health and safety features, including silver ion antimicrobial coatings, lead reduction and UV filtration systems. The latter works to protect users from 99.99% of all waterborne microorganisms, including bacteria such as E. coli and legionella.
Ease and speed of use
Almost all the equipment recommended by MIW for sporting venues has hands-free or push-button operation, allowing for quick and easy access. Units are also wheelchair accessible, which is important in any public area. Mains fed water dispenser units ensure a constant supply of water, while high capacity filters and water coolers guarantee the best-tasting water is available year-round.
Security and durability
Security is an important consideration for any venue that welcomes large numbers of people through the door at any one time. That’s why we’ve worked with some of our leading global suppliers to produce water bottle fillers and drinking fountains fitted with additional security features.
For example, fixed security shelves help to stop suspect packages from being hidden on or inside the equipment. Similarly, specially designed access panels held with security screws serve to seal the units and prevent tampering.
We not only offer a large selection of branded water coolers, drinking fountains and water bottle filling stations; we also manufacture our own units specifically designed for stadiums and events venues. We have the ability to customise orders with technical upgrades, such as enhanced cold weather protection for outdoor equipment.
